Dempsey Sunday

After a good gym workout on Sun, the group of us went down to Dempsey for makans. And it ended up a day to night of makans, from Barracks to PS Cafe to Ben & Jerry's, eating lots of truffle fries and other sinful stuff...

Coffee Stars by Dao Singapore

This only outlet at Wisma is brings delicious food and cakes which cost more than just what's from your wallet, but some precious time too for the long queue; unless you are lucky like me to have avoided the queue before the dinner hour.

Seared Beef Salad @ Delicious Cafe

Was enticed by the beautiful cake displays outside their shop but was kind of disappointed when we went in for lunch and found out that almost 80% of the items on their menu were unavailable due to on-going changes in the menu. Unlikely to go back again since the name fell short of my expectation.

Holes in the Wall

The stairway leading up to Arbite features colourful Lego bricks in the holes on its white-washed wall. Titled "Holes in the Wall", they are like an art piece to me as a prelude to a positive experience at the restaurant.

Arbite

Another find from fellow food blogger and this one is situated at the heart of Serangoon Garden. Arbite is a small but cosy place with friendly staff and good service. Their food menu is not very extensive but I would say good enough, as they do have some seasonal specialties, and more importantly, their food tastes good. I will go back again, to try their desserts since I was full after the 3 delicious dishes today.

Caffe's Private Corner

This is Caffe's favourite corner, to snack on her treats and also to just lie there and rest or emo in front of us.

5 Drunken Rabbits

Think this is quite new at the Pasir Ris Park. It was a surprised find and a pleasant one especially as it is dog-friendly! Food-wise is quite decent although I am more impressed by its wide range of drinks, particularly those heavily alcoholic ones haha. So far, I enjoyed their pizza more than their ribs or carbonara.

Food for Thought @ Botanical Garden

A new establishment at the tourist centre of the Botanical Garden nearer to Tanglin Road. This place is big and spacious and would make a good recommendation for group gatherings to dine and enjoy some desserts and drink. A pity though, that they have an alfresco section but do not allow dogs so that is a minus point to me.

Milo Caffe is welcomed at Cornerstone

The Cornerstone @ Bishan Park

This new outlet is an excellent dog-friendly spot at Bishan Park and a good alternative to the established Canopy that is just adjacent to it. Though the price may be a little on the high side, the food is impressively tasty.

MeAtHaven @ Jalan Kayu

A nice but under-patronised place along the foodie stretch of Jalan Kayu. They offer quite good cuisines and wine with a warm cosy ambience. But perhaps due to the surrounding competitions, they don't seem that popular with crowd.

Tokyo - Hakone 2012

A few snapshots of the 1-week free-and-easy trip to Tokyo-Hakone this CNY. Memorable, wonderful and refreshing although the winter got a little too cold to handle on some nights.
