Buddha Prayer
You would be able to see this statue outside a deity idol shop at Chinatown, just along the road facing Chinatown Point. The statute positioned againstt the scripture background formed an excellent combination.

The Less Colourfuls in Chinatown
Besides the colourful things you get to see in Chinatown, it is also interesting to observe the details of the people around them sometimes. Who they are, what are they doing, etc.
Colours of CNY
The bright and colourful decorations for CNY are always so pleasurable to look at, especially the red, gold and purple that seem to be the "in" colours this year.
Spring is in the Air
Made a quick trip to Chinatown this afternoon before the light-up ceremony in the evening to mark the opening of the Chinese New Year light-up. It was a hot afternoon, but the crowd along the streets was building up. There were also lots of new year goodies and decorations to feast the eyes on. Took some photos and will be posting them soon...

Monkey Lookout
Make a trip down to Upper Pierce Nature Reserve and you'll be greeted by many of this monkey, be it a pleasant or undesirable sight to you. But do hold on tight to any food you're bringing or it'll snatch it away when you least expect it.

Shadow on 2009
Actually took this photo from a Viewing Point at the Bollywood farm where I thought turned out quite interesting. Was a rather perspective but appropriate shot of a shadow (obviously mine) cast on 2009, since we had already moved into 2010!
Wet and Slimy Creatures
Continued on my nature exploration around the Choa Chu Kang and Kranji farm areas after my visit to Bollywood. Was a bright sunny day, but some of my sightings were rather satisfying: giant prawns at Kranji Agrotainment Resort, Amerian bull frogs at Jurong Frog Farm and some brown lizard at the Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve.
Go Green @ Bollywood
Drove up to the Bollywood Veggie Farm at the Choa Chu Kang farm area last weekend and had an enjoyable morning going "back to nature". It was a pleasure re-discovering how beautiful the fruits and veggies could be growing in the farm. Even had a good breakfast at the Poison Ivy cafe at the farm. Natural ingredients such as banana flowers, moringan leaves could be found in their dishes. The fig leave tea and lemongrass tea were refreshing drinks from the bright sun.

Golden Chandelier
Went to try the Ramen at Ippudo SG @ Meritus Mandarin this evening and was immediately impressed by the golden chandelier
in the centre of the restaurant. Similarly, the ramen was as enjoyable although price was even more impressive~

Milo at the Park
Brought Milo for a gathering with his friends at the Upper Pierce Reservoir Park last weekend. While he enjoyed himself roaming at the park, I enjoyed myself taking photos of him and his furkid friends.

Confident Junior
Meet this boy who behaved so confidently and carried himself like a little "big boss", even in front of the camera. Cute!

my Honda FIT
Haven't really taken many photos of it so far so I took one today, to update with its new tyres and rims. Black and red is indeed a good match.
Sembawang SAF Yacht Club
Read about the food at the Galley @ Sembawang SAF Yacht Club and went there to try. The curry fish head was good, thick and creamy. More enjoyable was the place, serene and breezy by the coast. Pleasant place for dinner!

Milo Visited Hort Park
Brought Milo along to the Hort Park and boy was he happy to be able to go out together and roam the park!

White Romance @ Hort Park
My favourite photo at the recent Hort Park trip. It was a shot of a hanging branch of small red flowers against the sky, taken with a portrait lens. The outcome was this which I liked very much. Clean, white with the little red flowers in the foreground.
The Leaves @ Hort Park
On my second visit to the Hort Park I chose to focus more on the leaves, objects and patterns since I had taken quite a lot of the flowers previously. Was quite satisfied with the outcome as these were the details I didn't notice on the last trip.
Close-ups @ the Hort Park
Part 1.5 of my Southern Ridges exploration. Didn't get to cover the remaining part at the Canopy Walk but paid a second visit to the Hort Park.

Ski 360 - Hit and Miss
Of course what goes up gotta come down, along with the hits there were misses you would get to see at the Ski 360.
Ski 360 - Splashing High
First post of 2010, so I would post something with a big splash and on a high note. Went to East Coast Park the Bar @ Ski 360 today and enjoyed myself taking shots of some fast actions.
