Flyer's Wires

Went to take my photos of the Singapore Flyer yesterday. Thought since many had chosen to take the wheel or viewing capsules, I would feature the Flyer from its many wires that are supporting the megastructure.

Night Flyer

The Flyer in the night takes on a different look. It glows in the dark sky as an iconic giant wheel at the southern tip of Singapore.

Formula One Machine

Not a big fan of the F1 event nor its racing machines, but was at the Flyer when I came across one of it on display. The car looked so much like a toy in the photo. But I've to agree that it's sleek looking.

Padang Soccer

Took a photo of the guys playing soccer at the Padang in front of the City Hall. The guys looked so tiny against the Swissotel Hotel.

Dragon Cloak

Had dinner at "Lou Hong Kong" in Novena Square 2 tonight and was immediately attracted to this majestic chinese cloak hanging in the restaurant. The bright firey red material with gold thread dragon embroidery was just too stunning.

Prawn

The dinner at Lou Hong Kong was good, $48++ set dinner for 2 came with soup, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses and a noodle/rice. The fried prawns in special recipe sauce as appetizer was a real treat.

Greentree

Stayed in the house as it was going to rain today. Thinking of what I could shoot at home when I looked out of the window and thought, "The trees outside are nice too right?"

Charming Innocence

My neighbour's young chubby son. Took this while waiting for the lift together with him today. Don't know his name, but he sure has an innocent handsome look.

Larger Than Live

A shot of Milo casting a big long shadow. Small dog big shadow, so representative of his "I'm larger than you see" character!

Light.Green.

Was walking from Pavilion SC towards Bukit Bintang in KL when I passed by a green patch in front of some hotel, thought it was a refreshing sight from the busy road and decided to snap a shot...

Spot-on Treats

Spent the last 3 nights in KL and visited several Chinese Restaurants for some good Dim Sums that tasted real spot-on. Canton-i, Dragon-i, to name a few.

A Friend for Life

Took a shot of my dog Milo along some void deck when the hard shadow cast by the afternoon sun caught my eye...

Garden @ Northpoint Mall

Actually chanced upon this photo-taking competition at Northpoint on the last day of its entry. Had my camera with me so decided to try my shot at it.

Meditation

Was taking some indoor photos when I saw an incense burner and lit a few sticks to take some smokey shots. Quite satisfied for a first attempt!

Take Flight

Was out with my camera at Si Ma Lu when the flock of pigeons outside the temple triggered my thought to try my luck at catching some moments of bird in flight. Was lucky!

Beautiful Innocence

Attended my nieces' birthday party at Changi Chalet and had a great time taking photo after photo of them. The child innocence just turned out so wonderfully in the photos.

Missing Connection

Playing with my camera on my bed and placed my 2 bear displays together for a themed shot.

Beach Milo

Day out with my dog Milo at Sentosa Palawan Beach and took this photo which looked so "studio shot" instead. Wonderful colours!

Doggie Bag

My dog Milo in his favourite "gai gai" bag. He's just so comfortable in it knowing he'll be going out whenever he sees the bag.

Floristry Competition @ Northpoint

Got my new very-treasured DSLR camera and started to bring it along wherever I go. Northpoint was having this floristry competition and it provided good subjects for my practice!
