This would be our many times at the Canopy in Bishan Park, its key appeals - dog-friendly serene alfresco dining with quite good food. I prefer their brunch menu over dinner menu as there were more variety, and their delicious Canopy burger would only be available on the former.
Sat morning was an enjoyable one for ourselves and, I believed, our furkids too. Milo and Caffe met up with their fur friends as the few of us gathered for breakfast followed by dog run at Bishan Park. As always, they met a few new playmates for a running good time. The smiles of all of their faces definitely made our day at the end of it all.
My latest acquisition of the 24-70 F2.8 Carl Zeiss lense marked the next stage of my photography adventure. After much thoughts, I had definitely put my mind onto it and well, I would said the results so far were more than satisfactory. The images were sharper and colour more accurate. The lense also worked wonderfully: fast and focusing was smooth and quiet. This was an investment worthwhile with no regret :)
Had wanted to go for chilli crab at Jumbo Seafood but the outlet at Clarke Quay was too crowded so we decided to settle for No Signboard at Central instead. Yet, it was a decision we never regretted when we discovered the chilli crab sauce there was like no other and what we always wanted. It was spicy the way chilli crab should be, yet not over-powering and with a subtle sweetness in the sauce. And the sauce was of just the right thickness and texture, saturated with eggs nicely spread throughout. No Signboard will be my place for chilli crab henceforth~
This would be a good place to go for nice food paired with wine to complete the whole dining experience. Located at a rather remote corner of Marina Square, it was a humble small restaurant but yet filled with tempting choices on their menu. The most distinct part of their menu was that every item would be paired with some red or white to go along with it. Definitely a gem discovered.
