Akari Ala Cartre Buffet Lunch

 

 

 

Located at Marina Bay Link Mall, Akari is a good place to indulge yourself in quality Japanese buffet food, and better if you top it up with unlimited wine/beer/sake/champagne! There were too many things we ate so I had to pack them all into collages :P

12 Cupcakes @ Millenia Walk

A newly setup place that specialises in cupcake, and it is by Daniel Ong and Jamie Yeo, named the 12 Cupcakes. I'm not really a fan of cupcake so this was my first try. It was quite nice, the cupcakes were moist and toppings flavourful. Still not a fan but perhaps will try again next time I'm near.

Paradise Dynasty @ ION - Legend of Xiao Long Bao

 

 

They certain lived up to their name for their Xiao Long Bao, tasty! The platter would be a good start to try out the various tastes available. Original was good, while I also enjoyed the Black Truffle and Foie Gras ones. Must go back for more~

A Different Jones at Mandarin Gallery

 

 

I had dined at Jones at The Dempsey a couple of times and totally enjoyed myself there. Today, it was breakfast at Jones again but a different location and a totally different experience. It was at Mandarin Gallery in the middle of Orchard Road, where its decor was contemporary and the whole experience felt more chic and refreshing. Also tried different kind of food today and loved their bacon, spinach, tomatoes fused together in a pan with eggs, enjoyed with bread and top-up of mushrooms. Good breakfast!
